Evaluation of Using Magnetized Water in Leaching Salts in Sandy Loam Soil

Many studies and researchers have reported significant evidence that some physical properties of water can be changed as it passes through a magnetic field improve use. This promising potential for applications, especially in the fields irrigation drainage. In this research, magnetized was used to leach salt-affected sandy loam soil. A test rig designed constructed investigate effects on leaching The consists magnetization device provide variable intensity. Water supplied from constant head reservoir then soils were placed plastic columns. Five different intensities five times exposing flow applied. time exposure represented by velocity passing field. treated is applied each soil column three consecutive processes. Leaching drained samples tested EC pH, K+, Na+, Mg+2, Ca+2, Cl-, HCO-3, SO4-2. results showed efficiency removing salts more than untreated water. As intensity are increased, leached out When comparing experiments conducted with water, maximum increase value 58.6%, pH values 2.4%.
